Healthy Harvest

Program Overview

Healthy Harvest is a community garden initiative of The Grahamtown Team designed to improve access to fresh, healthy food for residents throughout the community. Our garden includes a hoop house with 28 raised beds, allowing us to grow produce year-round, regardless of season. This controlled growing environment helps ensure consistent harvests and long-term sustainability.

How it Works..

Produce grown through Healthy Harvest is carefully planted, maintained, and harvested by staff and volunteers. Once harvested, the produce is bagged and distributed at no cost to individuals and families throughout the community. The program focuses on accessibility, ensuring that fresh fruits and vegetables reach residents who may otherwise face barriers to healthy food options.
